SAUNA - hot dry room

Dry Sauna

  • No water used

Wet Sauna

  • Temperature 70-90℃
  • Humidity 5-10%
  • 15-35% in short bursts Ladles water on hot stones to produce short burst of humidity and sensation of extra heat.

Traditional saunas provide dry and wet

STEAM SAUNA or SOFT SAUNA

  • Temperature 45-65℃
  • Humidity 40-65%
  • "Like being in the sauna with a kettle boiling" - no need for water on hot stones
  • gentler sauna at lower temperatures
  • said to be half-way between sauna and steam

STEAM ROOM - hot wet room

  • Temperature 40-45℃
  • Relative Humidity 100%
  • A shower in the steam room is an enhancement, enabling a cool or luke-warm shower during the steam session.
